A Card of Pretties

Stampin' Up!'s new Pretties Kit is so easy and fun to use, it amazed me. All of the flowers are made of a white fabric so that you can colorize them to coordinate with your project. You can use any method of coloring you want - Stampin' Write Markers, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, ink pads, Stampin' Pastels, etc. The results are truly fantastic.

Card Details:
  • Stamp Sets: Warmest Regards, Brocade Basics
  • Cardstock: Blush Blossom, Mellow Moss, Soft Sky
  • Classic Inks: Mellow Moss, Soft Sky
  • Accessories: Pretties Kit, Sherbet Ribbon Originals, Large Oval Punch, Stampin' Write Marker, Sponge

To color the large flower, I used the brush tip of a Stampin' Write marker in Blush Blossom. Just color the petals and set aside to dry - it doesn't take long at all. If you want a deeper shade, color again.

For the smaller flower, I sponged the color from the Soft Sky Classic ink pad onto the flower and let dry.

I fed the flowers through the hat pin and used a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the half-back pearl to the center.
