Stampin' Up!'s Fall-Winter Idea Book & Catalog Has Arrived!!

Finally, the new catalog is here, and it is definitely one of the best ever! The new stamp sets are beautiful, the illustrations are breathtaking, and the new accessories are a must-have.

Want to know one of the best parts? All of the new stamp sets are die-cut, which means you just have to pop them out of the rubber sheets and assemble. The sets featured in the previous catalogs must still be cut out because SU! didn't re-make the dies.

You'll be able to order all these exciting new items beginning August 11.

Stampin' Up! is welcoming their new catalog by offering a fantastic Never-Before-Seen promotion. You will be able to purchase ten, yes TEN, brand new stamps sets at a 15% discount! There is no limit, and no additional purchase required. How exciting is that?? Here are the names of these terrific stamp sets:

  • Upsy Daisy
  • Under the Stars

25% Off on All Hodgepodge Hardware!

Stampin' Up! is offering 25% off of their Hodgepodge Hardware for the month of July!! The sale price would be only $20.96 - that's a savings of $7.00!

What I have heard is that SU! will continue to carry the Hodgepodge Hardware, but the current finish will be retired. If you like the brushed finish, now is the time to stock up! Will they have new designs? I don't know . . . I guess we'll have to wait to see!

Just a Few Cards

I was playing around with the stamp set, She's All That, and realized that my collection was lacking in moms-to-be cards. So, here it is - the design is very simple, but you can easily change up the colors for the mom-to-be.
Card details . . .
Stamp Sets: -- She's All That; Doodle That
Card Stock -- Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink -- Wild Wasabi
Accessories -- Afternoon Tea patterened paper; Wild Wasabi Striped Grosgrain Ribbon; Eyelets/Crop-a-dile; Stickles.

While browsing through a recent magazine, this layout was presented as a challenge. It went together surprisingly easy, so I think it's a keeper!

Card details . . .
Stamp Sets -- Both Way Blossoms; Fresh Cuts
Card Stock -- Tempting Turquoise; Lavender Lace; Basic Black; Glossy White
Ink -- Basic Black; Stampin' Write Markers
Accessories -- Scallop Circle Punch; 1-1/4" Circle Punch; 1" Circle Punch; Ticket Corner Punch; Corner Rounder (with guard removed to make scalloped edge on Glossy White layer); Hodgepodge Hardware; Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon; Tempting Turquoise 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon; Stickles; Cuttlebug.

If you are like me, you save almost every scrap of everything! What about those little ribbon pieces that were too big to just throw away, but not big enough to tie? Make a ribbon flower!!!
First, cut out a circle base (I used the 1/1-4" Circle Punch) and load it with adhesive on one side. Use your ribbon pieces and lay one end of each onto the adhesive. To get them evenly spaced, I started by placing a ribbon at the 12:00 position, then the 3:00 position, 6:00, and 9:00, then filled in from there. After placing all your ribbons, add more adhesive and fold it in half, placing the other end at an angle, to give it a fuller look. You can then embellish the front of the ribbon flower as desired.
Card details . . .
Stamp Set -- Time with You
Card Stock -- Groovy Guava; Bashful Blue; Lavender Lace
Ink -- Lavender Lace
Accessories -- Scallop Circle Punch; 1-1/4" Circle punch; Hodgepodge Hardware; Cuttlebug; Stickles
Ribbons -- Groovy Guava and Soft Sky Double-stitched Ribbons; Whisper White and Bashful Blue Taffeta; Orchid and Delphinium 1/4" Grosgrain; Bashful Blue Gingham

New Occasions Mini Catalog

Have you seen the new Occasions Mini Catalog?? Oh my gosh, it is so full of cool stuff, I just don't know where to begin! There are two sets of new doubles-sided Designer Series Paper, Afternoon Tea, which features elegant patterns in Soft Sky, Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi and Chocolate Chip; then there is Summer Picnic, with fun patterns in Bashful Blue, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.

The stamp sets get even better! A couple of the more different ones are She's All That, a set of four silhouette girls - one who is a bride, one who is pregnant, one having a birthday, and one walking a poodle carrying a hot drink. Then there is a greeting set called Sassy Suzie, with her witty and a bit off-the-wall sense of humor. There are so many more, you'll just have to see for yourself.

If you don't have a mini catalog, please let me know - these items are too fantastic to pass up!

Celebrate Sale-A-Bration!

What do you think about these cards? One thing they have in common is that they use some of the stamp sets from Stampin' Up!'s greatest promotion of the year, Sale-A-Bration! What makes this promotion so special? All the items in this special mini catalog, and there are six of them, cannot be purchased. However, for every $50 in merchandise purchased from the Spring-Summer Collection catalog, you can choose any one item absolutely FREE! There is no limit to the number of the Sale-A-Bration items you can acquire. Such as, if you spend $150, you can choose three Sale-A-Bration items for free.

Hostesses receive an extra benefit from holding a funshop or a special techniques class during this promotion. When the class total reaches $300, you'll receive a Sale-A-Bration set free, along with the traditional hostess benefits!

Would you like to have some hands-on time with these stamp sets? Then make plans to join me on Sunday, February 17, at 1:00 p.m. for my special Celebrate Sale-A-Bration event at my home. The fee will be $12.00, and we will use a little of all of it! I can't wait to share these with you. Please RSVP soon, and don't forget to bring your Stamping Tool Kit.

This promotion will run from February 1 through March 17, so start planning your orders now. If you need a Sale-A-Bration mini catalog, please let me know.
