Pre-order Your Fall-Winter Idea Book & Catalog

Now is the time to pre-order your very own 2008 Stampin' Up! Fall-Winter Idea Book & Catalog! This catalog will contain many, many brand new stamp sets and accessories. Stampin' Up! has given us some great news - all the new stamp sets will come die-cut - that means you won't have to cut them out of their rubber sheets, just pop them out and mount them on the wooden blocks. All of the older stamp sets will still have to be cut, but it looks as though they are phasing out this type of production.

Cost: $5.00
Deadline: July 25

E-mail me and let me know if you want to pre-order: imagininks@hotmail.com

Stamptemberfest is Coming!

That's right - Saturday, September 13, is scheduled as Stamptemberfest!! This is our third year, and Sherry and I are very excited about this event.

What is Stamptemberfest? Sherry, who is the absolute best Tastefully Simple consultant, and I have teamed up to bring you a day filled with good food, fun and creativity. She always has a terrific and scrumptious menu to keep our tummies happy. On the Stampin' Up! side, I will prepare three exciting technique classes, and provide several make-n-takes for you to create while waiting for your classes. Please bring your own Stamper's Tool Kit (adhesives, scissors, ruler, pencil) - all other supplies will be provided.

The day starts at 9:00 a.m. and goes to 4:00 p.m. There will be door prizes galore (you must be present to win) and a special grand prize from each of us at the end of the day. Space is limited, so the earlier you register, the better. We look forward to sharing this awesome day with you!

25% Off on All Hodgepodge Hardware!

Stampin' Up! is offering 25% off of their Hodgepodge Hardware for the month of July!! The sale price would be only $20.96 - that's a savings of $7.00!

What I have heard is that SU! will continue to carry the Hodgepodge Hardware, but the current finish will be retired. If you like the brushed finish, now is the time to stock up! Will they have new designs? I don't know . . . I guess we'll have to wait to see!

Just a Few Cards

I was playing around with the stamp set, She's All That, and realized that my collection was lacking in moms-to-be cards. So, here it is - the design is very simple, but you can easily change up the colors for the mom-to-be.

While browsing through a recent magazine, this layout was presented as a challenge. It went together surprisingly easy, so I think it's a keeper!

If you are like me, you save almost every scrap of everything! What about those little ribbon pieces that were too big to just throw away, but not big enough to tie? Make a ribbon flower!!!
First, cut out a circle base (I used the 1/1-4" Circle Punch) and load it with adhesive on one side. Use your ribbon pieces and lay one end of each onto the adhesive. To get them evenly spaced, I started by placing a ribbon at the 12:00 position, then the 3:00 position, 6:00, and 9:00, then filled in from there. After placing all your ribbons, add more adhesive and fold it in half, placing the other end at an angle, to give it a fuller look. You can then embellish the front of the ribbon flower as desired.
